Galatine Technologies LLC is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for everyone, including people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience of galatine.io and applying the relevant accessibility standards.
1. Our Commitment
Accessibility is part of the way we build software. Our goal is to make this website and our services usable by the widest possible audience, regardless of ability, technology, or context. We believe equitable access is essential to working with public-sector clients, enterprise partners, and the broader community we serve.
2. Conformance Standard
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, motor, cognitive, learning, and neurological differences.
This site is also designed with the principles of Section 508 of the U.S. Rehabilitation Act in mind, in support of our work with federal, state, and local government clients.
3. Accessibility Features
The following features are built into the site to support accessibility:
- Semantic HTML - meaningful headings, landmarks, and structure throughout
- Keyboard navigation - all interactive elements are reachable and operable via keyboard alone
- Skip links and logical focus order on every page
- Alt text on images conveying the content and function of visual elements
- Sufficient color contrast against the dark background palette, meeting WCAG AA contrast thresholds
- Reduced-motion support - the corridor transitions and ceiling-light animations are disabled automatically when the operating system reports a "reduce motion" preference
- Resizable text up to 200% without loss of content or functionality
- Form labels and error messaging linked programmatically to their controls
- ARIA attributes applied where semantic HTML alone is insufficient
- Descriptive link text that conveys purpose without surrounding context
4. Known Limitations
We continually audit and improve the site. At present we are aware of the following limitations:
- Third-party form widgets (such as hCaptcha) are governed by their providers and may not fully meet WCAG AA in every assistive-technology configuration. We have selected providers that publish their own accessibility commitments and we re-evaluate them periodically.
- Decorative animations (corridor rails, perspective grids, ceiling lights) are presentational only and are hidden from assistive technology. Users who prefer reduced motion can disable them via their operating system's accessibility settings, which the site honors automatically.
If you encounter an accessibility barrier not listed above, we want to know. See the contact section below.
5. Compatibility
The site is designed to be compatible with the current and previous major versions of:
- Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, and Microsoft Edge (desktop and mobile)
- Common screen readers including NVDA, JAWS, and VoiceOver
- Operating system zoom and high-contrast modes
Older browsers may not support all interactive features but should still allow access to the content.
6. Assessment and Testing
Accessibility on this site is assessed through:
- Automated testing during development and at release
- Manual review against the WCAG 2.1 Level AA success criteria
- Keyboard-only and screen-reader walkthroughs of primary user flows
7. Feedback and Assistance
We welcome your feedback. If you experience an accessibility barrier on galatine.io, need content in an alternative format, or have suggestions for improvement, please contact us. We aim to respond to accessibility feedback within five business days and will work with you to provide the information or service you need through an alternative channel where required.

8. Formal Complaints
If you are not satisfied with our response to an accessibility request, you may escalate the issue under the dispute-resolution procedures in our Terms of Service. Where applicable law provides a formal complaint mechanism (for example, under the Americans with Disabilities Act), you retain all rights to use those procedures.
9. Ongoing Effort
Web accessibility is not a one-time project. We treat it as an ongoing responsibility and revise our practices as standards evolve, as our site changes, and as we learn from the people who use it.
